PANDAS
How Court Clock handles your data.
Effective: March 23, 2026. We collect the data needed to run the app, manage accounts and billing, support publishing, and operate public live pages.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use Court Clock, we may collect account details, sign-in and verification records, billing and license records, app and device details used for activation or desktop sign-in, website analytics, publishing metadata, live page analytics, optional diagnostics, and support communications.
Account & billing data
If you create an account or make a purchase, we may store your email address, password-related records, email verification state, session records, account-linked billing identity, owned licenses, order history, entitlement status, and related support history.
Device, session, and security data
To protect accounts and desktop app access, we may store IP address, user-agent data, app version, device labels, device identifiers, session timestamps, and security-check results related to sign-in, verification, and app login approval.
Published content & public live pages
When you publish a game, competition, or tournament, the published page may include event names, team names, logos, scores, clocks, standings, statuses, venue labels, branding, and other metadata you chose to send from the app. Anyone with the public link may be able to view that page.
Live page analytics
For published live pages, we record basic page-visit analytics such as entity type, slug, event type, referrer, user-agent data, and a derived visitor key based on request metadata. We use this to show visit and viewer counts and to monitor published page usage.
Website analytics
We use Plausible Analytics on the website to measure page visits, referral sources, and download-button clicks such as Windows and macOS downloads. Plausible is privacy-focused and does not rely on cross-site advertising cookies.
Local game data
Game state, clocks, fouls, timeouts, overlays, and saved history can remain on your device unless you choose to publish, sync, stream, or otherwise share them. You are responsible for what is shown on venue displays, stream outputs, local links, and public live pages.
How we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, verify email ownership, process purchases, issue and validate licenses, approve desktop app sign-in, operate publishing workflows, provide dashboard analytics, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with you about your account or service use.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with payment processors, email or messaging providers, security or anti-abuse services, hosting or infrastructure providers, and other service providers who help us operate Court Clock, or when required by law.
Retention
We retain account, billing, license, support, publishing, and analytics records for as long as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain customer history. Published pages may also expire automatically under our retention settings.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data we hold. No system is completely secure, and you remain responsible for securing operator devices, local networks, and any public or local links you share.
Your choices
Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, subject to legal and operational limits. You can also sign out, stop publishing, unpublish shared pages, or uninstall the app to remove local data stored on your device.
